Veste in der Ferne / „Veste“ at the distance

Nach unserer Übernachtung in Coburg besuchten wir früh am nächsten Tag die Veste. Es war recht kalt und es hatte in der Nacht gehagelt. Wir waren praktisch allein. Der Himmel wechselte von schmutzig grau nach weiß und zurück. Zwischendurch regnete es eiskalte Tropfen. Dabei kommt echtes Mittelalterfeeling auf.

After staying the night at Coburg we went to visit the „Veste“ very early morning the next day. It was pretty cold, some hail fell during the night and we were the only people around. The sky changed it’s colour from dirty grey to white and back again, meanwhile icecold rain fell. That gives you a true medieval feeling.
